Estes Custom Homes (ECH) began in the summer of 1996 by Chris
Estes, a former School Teacher. Chris taught Technology Education in Davie and Durham County, NC, where Construction was a large part of his Curriculum. So it was a natural transition from Teaching to being a Contractor. Over the next 12 years, ECH built Custom Homes in the Triangle ranging in size from 2,000 sq. ft. to 6,000 sq. ft.
In 2006, Juan Lopez joined ECH as Partner, bringing 21 years of Construction Experience with him.
